An Orphan's Dream
-
The mission of this organization is to build an orphanage in Gachoka, Kenya, for children who have lost their parents to AIDS. Every 14 seconds a child loses a parent to AIDS. Moreover, the poverty is unspeakably devastating, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, where we are building our orphanage. The organization seeks to bring comfort to these suffering children so they may heal, and to nurture them with love and compassion. We plan to help our children develop self-esteem and eventually self-realization by teaching them skills that will develop their talents, both practical and creative. The land for the orphanage has been purchased, and the organization is currently raising money to build the facility.
Mad*Pow crafted the identity for the organization and is assisting with website design and development, search engine optimization, and digital marketing efforts. The first phase of the website is live now and the second phase, which will take donations, will be live soon.
