At Interactions 10 in Savannah Georgia, Greg Vassallo shares a passionate story about the heart wrenching journey that he and his wife experienced when in March 2008 their two-month-old son Luca was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare form of childhood cancer.
Immediately following his diagnosis they were admitted into Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where they would end up living in the alternate reality of pediatric cancer for a about a year. It was an intense experience that has changed Greg and his family in ways they are still discovering.
Greg shares these experiences and the 10 key lessons he learned about being a better design consultant from his time in the hospital while interacting with doctors, nurses, and other patients.
