Caitlin Gebhard

Senior Content Strategist

Caitlin is passionate about normalizing disability and supporting disability justice through accessible design, from creating social spaces where everyone feels empowered, to designing technology, products, and services that can be easily and enjoyably used regardless of ability or background.

As a curious learner and trained technical writer, editor, researcher, and designer, Caitlin applies the principles of universal design to all aspects of their work — from research and writing to testing and launch – while infusing empathetic, sustainable, and inclusive design practices at every stage of the process.

Caitlin recently graduated with a Master of Science in Integrated Digital Media from New York University. Juggling a year-long thesis, graduate classes and work throughout the realities of a global pandemic was challenging yet rewarding, and she is grateful for the career transition that took them from publishing to the world of design. Caitlin is also an International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).

Caitlin enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and other boardgames with friends, finding the best ice cream in town, and reading stories about robot uprisings and strange new worlds.
