Kelsey Werner

Senior Experience Strategist

Kelsey’s background as the Director of Social & Community Based Systems Modeling at Boston College’s School of Social Work provides a lens of community-based system dynamics to her design work. She has experience researching complex problems using participatory approaches, translating those insights to stakeholders, and informing potential solutions.

After earning a Master of Social Work in International Social and Economic Development, her work took her around the globe, facilitating sessions on ecological-based livelihoods in India, inclusive education in Kenya, and health equity across the US, and attending the School for International Training in Durban, South Africa. Kelsey believes that creating lasting social impact at scale requires moving beyond individual communities to designing and implementing solutions with a wide array of institutions and industry partners.

Kelsey grew up on the water and was let loose on a little whaler when she was ten years old. She now lives only a few blocks from the beach and just started paddle boarding. Her long-term foster labradoodle, Dory, also loves the beach and digging up clamshells to play fetch with.
